A Day in Zion National Park | Traveling to Zion National Park with A Dog

Zion National Park

Wow!!! This place simply takes my breath away.

I wasn’t exactly planning on stopping at Zion National park. I thought it’d take a different route… then last minute I decided to go.  I’m so glad I did.

Yup, I’ll just grab that mountain right there!

I can’t fully describe how this place makes you feel but there is something magical in the air. Some kind of nature escape peacefulness  that I’ve never felt before!

Once again the Tiny Monster limited things but that’s a okay with me cause life is way better with her.  The only trail she’s allowed on is the Pa’rus Trail. We walked at sunset and it brought tears to my eyes. It was a beautiful walk with beautiful company.

Being on this trail reminded me yet again why I leave the comfort of my own home…to be cold, sleeping in dingy motels, away from loved ones, and even more so not home on Thanksgiving… it’s to be a part of something bigger. To see and be at one with beautiful  places like this.

Also so many other dog owners with their pups were on the trail. We made a ton of new friends!

My mountain girl!

Sometimes when I travel I’m have to pinch myself, this was one of those days. I can’t wait to come back to Zion. I truly feel like I left a large piece of my heart here and I’d love to return soon to visit it! 🙂

Let’s run away to Zion. Adventure awaits!
