Be Boulder

Be Boulder

Howdy friends. After all the exploring in Colorado I wanted to share with you some ideas on what to do in  downtown Boulder. Covering the What to do? Where to stay? Where to eat?

What to do?!?
Check out Pearl Street Mall this is the main shopping attraction in Boulder. You can dine here, visit unique and well known shops, or simply walk around and check out the street entertainment.

Bruiser is my favorite and a favorite for a lot of little ones!

Pearl Street is also located in the historical district of Boulder so they offer walking tours for you to learn more about the area. You can also pick up a map at any information kiosk and do a self guided walking tour.

Here is a list of some of my favorite places to visit in and around Pearl Street Mall.

Rocket Fizz: Great for unique sodas and satisfying your sweet tooth cravings!

Crossroads: Resell shop where you can find great deals on previously owned clothes.  This is were I found the mountain hat I was sporting through out the trip.

Snooze: Great brunch, always busy!!

Ozo Coffee: Some of the best coffee around! I’m not supposed to drink coffee, for health reasons, but I make an exception for Ozo!!

Conor O’neill’s: Irish pub, best place to watch soccer. I tried to watch the World Cup here once and it was jam packed, great bar!

Where to Stay?

If you want to stay in Downtown Boulder here are two options.

1. Bradley Inn: I have previously stayed here and loved loved loved it. Cute and quaint, 12 guest rooms, and about  a block from Pearl Street. It gets booked up fast!!

2. Hotel Boulderado: An icon and landmark in Boulder for over 100 years. 160 guestrooms.

Where to Eat?

I finally got to eat at the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse. I have been wanting to experience this place for years since I’m totally mad about tea. It did not disappoint!

Boulder’s sister city,  Dushanbe gave this lovely tea house to the city of Boulder in 1987. And doors to the Dushanbe Tea House opened in 1998. Over 40 artisans worked, by hand (no machines), to construct the tea house in Dushanbe. The tea house was then completely taken apart and shipped to Boulder to be reconstructed!

They have over 100 loose leaf teas to pick from, an eclectic menu with cuisines from across the globe, and afternoon tea parties for guests! A total must visit it you’re a tea lover like myself!
Time to go explore Boulder now,  get excited. Adventure awaits!!!
